LIFE BEGINS WITH DEATH

Ecclesiastes 7:3
It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to the house of feasting: for in that we are put in mind of the end of all, and the living thinketh what is to come.

It all begins with a thought: Do I run deeper into the darkness, or do I listen to the small, still voice in my heart that beckons me toward the light of Christ?

The darkness filled me with the desires of the flesh—every craving momentarily satisfied, but never enough. It left me feeling trapped, bound by the very vices I had chosen to escape the harsh realities of this world.

But that small voice grew louder, clearer. The closer I ran toward it, the harder it became to run away. The pull to know who was calling me became my only desire.

He spoke. And I answered.

Matthew Chapter 5
